OUR INSURANCE POLICY

At Viana dental, we understand that dental care can be expensive for patients, even though it is necessary. We strive to assist our uninsured patients with the costs in the following ways:

1. We offer interest-free financing options upon approval.
2. We provide discounts to seniors and students, as well as a pre-payment discount. Seniors and students receive a 10% discount, and those who pay for their treatment at least two days in advance receive a 5% discount.
3. Our treatment coordinators are available to help you plan and prioritize your treatment according to your needs and budget.

For our insured patients, we accept direct payment from your insurance and inform you of any out-of-pocket expenses. We will always do our best to inform you of any additional costs.

However, there are certain situations in which we may not be able to provide an accurate estimate of out-of- pocket expenses:

1. If you have used your insurance benefits at another dental office within the same insurance year. It's important to note that not all insurance plans follow a calendar year.
2. If we do not have the most up-to-date information about your insurance policy.
3. If you have recently changed insurance plans and have not informed us of the new plan.
4. If you have lost your insurance coverage or if your insurance is no longer active.
5. If we refer you to a specialist or another dental office for treatment, we may not be aware of the fees charged by those providers, including specialists.

In any of the above situations, the amounts covered by your dental insurance and its availability may be affected, and adjustments to the amount owing may be necessary.
